RTR Season 61 End of the Season Meeting

Hey guys we are having the RTR Season 61 End of the Season Meeting on Tuesday, Apr 02 th, 2024, @ 830pm est. In the RTG TeamSpeak

This meeting is mandatory for all RTR Directors.

All drivers are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.

As always this will be a 2 part meeting.

1st part is to set all the RTR series for Season 61.

2nd part will be to discuss any possible rules and format changes for RTR's Season 61.

I would like to have a new rule added ...
This will apply to all series that use "Lotto Qualifying"
Immediately following the "Lotto Qualifying" , if the Car #7 has taken the pole position....
Then the "Lotto Qualifying" must be re-done ...
The Car #7 should not be allowed to have the pole position ...
The driver of the Car #7 is just too old and has a very slow reaction time ....
Thus putting all other drivers around Car #7 in danger ... when the race is started ...

I understand what you're talking about cyber. I'd like to add something else to that which should go like this anybody over the age of 60 in any series that the person races in on the last lap no matter whether it's under green or under yellow that particular person or persons should be allowed to go to the front so they have more of a chance to beat these younger Folk what do you think?

In a lottery qualifying race, a DNQ driver will be REQUIRED to disconnect from server prior to the qualifying lottery. This will be considered serving the DNQ penalty. There will be no further requirement for a DNQ driver to drop to the rear once the field grids for any start or restart of a lottery qualifying race.

Rationale: This is easier to enforce!

I would like to open a discussion about adding "Race RE_Start" Zones on the Super Speedways we run.
This will modernize our races a bit (move it out of the 20th century ) ..and
Give control of the restart to the current leader

Proposal for Qualifying for all series:
1. 'lotto" for all regular season races

2. first round of "play-offs" only the top 12 would be eligible to qualify,
everyone else option 1: have what they have from originally entering the server
option 2: log out & re-enter after the top 12 have qualified

3. second round of "play-offs" only top 8 qualify
everyone else option 1: have what they have from originally entering the server
option 2: log out & re-enter after the top 12 have qualified

4. Third round only the "Final Four" qualify
everyone else option 1: have what they have from originally entering the server
option 2: log out & re-enter after the top 12 have qualified

Rationale: As compared to most athletic play-offs, those teams making the play-off rounds have deserved to be seeded above of those teams missing the
playoffs. Drivers that have worked hard and are fortunate enough to make the play-offs should have the privilege and benefits of starting towards the front.
