Post by JeremyJeffries »

Race 1- 5/2/24

Lap 3- An accordion-effect check-up in the tri-oval results in a wreck. This was reviewed and determined to be a no-call; no incidents charged.

Lap 13- #19 pushes up into #616 and causes a wreck; #19 served his penalty.

Lap 20- An accordion-effect check-up entering the tri-oval results in a wreck. This was reviewed and determined to be a no-call; no incidents charged.

Lap 40- #9 gets into #043 during a check-up; #9 was charged for the incident and served her penalty.

Lap 51- #5 warps and it causes a wreck; #5 served his penalty.

Lap 55- #8 gets a slow restart and it causes a wreck; the Replay Analyzer confirmed this was not a blown gear or mechanical failure. #8 is charged an incident; he did not serve so he is docked a lap and a DNQ next race.

Lap 60- #19 pushes up into #26; #19 retired since this was his second wreck; he is a 1-and-park next race.

Lap 66- #1 moves from middle to low lane near the end of the backstretch. He got down in front of #33 cleanly but it caused a check-up entering the turn which resulted in a wreck. #1 is charged for the incident; he will be scored EOLL and is a 1-and-park next race. This incident was protested; the Replay Review Committee overturned the incident charged to #1; this incident will now be changed to a 'no call'. #1 is reinstated as the winner and no penalties are charged in this incident..

1 incident: #5, #8, #9

Race 2- 5/9/24

Lap 37- #5 makes contact w/ #92 entering pit road. #5 was not allowed to participate in this call as he was directly involved. The remaining admins reviewed it but the initial contact between the two drivers did not appear to be a direct result of #92 spinning as #92 then makes contact with a slower car while they were three-wide entering the pits. This entire sequence was reviewed and determined to be a no-call.

Lap 53- #39 and #63 make contact and it causes an incident. #39 was not allowed to participate in this call as he was directly involved. The remaining admins review the incident and charged it on #63 for crowding and bumper-hooking #39. #63 did not serve a penalty so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 53- Racing into a wrecked was looked at in this big accident, however, the cars that were hit drove up onto the track and we not up to speed. No cars were charged for secondary incidents as they had slowed down and were up against the wall making every effort to avoid contact.

Lap 58- #5 missed a shift on the restart and it blows his motor. This is not considered a random mechanical failure so an incident is charged #5 who obviously retired.

Lap 58- A second incident on this lap happens when #1 bumps #24 in turn three and knocks him loose which caused a wreck; #1 served his penalty.

Lap 66- There is no incident charged at the finish as the wreck was after the S/F line.

DNQ's (must go to back of field on pace lap): #63
1-and-parks: #19
Parked next race:

1 incident: #1, #8, #9, #63
2 incidents: #5, #19
3 incidents:
4 incidents:
5 or more incidents (one-and-park for remainder of season):
