We don't do times like NHRA, right now we are strictly head to head like Street Outlaws style lol.

The top fifteen were the top this week after single elimination runs. Next week we will look at doing a double elimination format. Between rounds, drivers who were eliminated previously were allowed to call out any other driver they wished in grudge style racing. If we stick with single elimination, we may give the eliminated drivers a way to race back into the main bracket via those call outs. Bottom line, the possibilities are both endless and exciting and we'll let the drivers dictate how we do it going forward. Right now we are all having a blast playing around with it.

And oh yes, 4-wide is coming! We made contact this weekend with someone who has great experience at this and he has given us some great ideas and resources. More on that Friday.

Come give it a go!

RTG OUTLAWS Drag Racing Night #3 6/23/2017

Drag night #3 on 6/23/17 saw some serious fun and competitive racing, with our third new #1 being crowned in the 1/4 mile, and the crew then headed to the 4-wide dragway to play and run this week's 1/2 mile shootout. Even a spontaneous super speedway race broke out on the extended dragway where it's rumored the #39 topped 300MPH! A great time was had by all, which is of course the point. There were amazingly close races that needed video replay to see who won. THANKS to all who came out this week including the guys who were there but didn't go for the list tonight in Jeff Crivello, Matt Woehl, Herman Reiss, David Canon and Dave Earlywine.

:yahoo: :clapping: Congrats to the #18 of David Lawson for taking over the #1 spot in the 1/4 mile, and the #015 of Sean Prime on the #1 spot in the 1/2 mile. :good: :hello:

Drag Racing Night #4 brought another exciting and fun night with an interesting twist on the brackets. Drivers squared off in a single elimination brackets, however each pairing in the brackets required those driver to race best 2 out of 3 runs.

Tonight's 1/4 mile kings emerging from the brackets were;
1. #015 Sean Prime
2. #118 Dustin Roser
3. #69 Terry Bauman
4. #003 David Canon
5. #72 Jim Gloude
6. #4 Brian Schilling
7. #95 Dave Earlywine

The group then put in some serious time on 1/2 mile runs on the 4-wide dragway where there were even triple photo finishes.

Instead of running a full round of brackets in 1/2 mile tonight, yet another twist occurred, as the group decided to once again go for the gusto in the full multi-mile straightaway superspeedway track with road course type turns at each end that is the full dragway complex. Definitely an amazing and fun experience to see who can make it around first. They will be cleaning pebbles out of my car for a week lol.
