G27 Heats up alot

I got a G27 wheel about a month ago. I don't know if it is suppose to heat up alot where the motor is but I noticed recently is gets very warm after playing for a couple hours. Anybody else have a G27 and notice how warm it gets. Just worried mine might become defective. Any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

i got my g27 about 2 years ago and have not had that problem
or i havent noticed it. after i race on monday i will check it out.

Mine does that Steeve, especially on a Friday with 3 consecutive hrs of use, the more force feedback you use, the more it heats up.

Bones, did yours heat up at all Monday night? I think it might do with the spring effect or whatever you call it. I turned my way up to 150% because I like the feel of driving with no power steering. I turned it down to 100% and it's still warm but not really hot. That might be the issue.

no it didnt i did check it. but i dont use force feed back never have
it was warm but very little. hope this helps.

FFB is useless in NR2003. Turn it off and save your wheel

Thanks for checking Bones. David, it doesn't matter if I have FFB on or off. It still was getting warm. But with the spring effect turned down it's much better now. warm to touch but not too warm. I am only running FFB at 9%. I seem to be running better now with that set-up so i dont wanna tinker with it.
