Lap #24: Debris caution from #41 hitting pit wall on entrance. Incident on #41. #41 retired

Lap #31: #15 self-spins on the backstretch (great save!). Incident on #15. 4-tire stop was correctly served on the second caution lap.

Lap #40: #13 self-spins in turn 3. Incident on #13. 4-tire stop was correctly served on the second caution lap.

Lap #47: #04 self-spins exiting turn 2. Incident on #04. 4-tire stop was correctly served on the second caution lap.

Lap #58: #15 slows slightly and changed lanes entering turn 3, coming down in front of #69 and there is contact which causes #69 to spin. After multiple Admin/Owner review, incident on #15. Unfortunately, this was the second incident on #15 and he properly parked.

Lap #64: #108 bumps #04 entering turn three and then after a great attempt at saving it, finally spins in turn 4. Incident on #108. 4-tire stop was correctly served on the second caution lap. While racing back to the caution #43 comes up the track in the tri-oval and makes contact with #065 who spins. Lap #32: During green flag pit stops, #5 gets into #04 entering pit road, then #44 (at 59MPH entering) gets into #39. Incidents on #5 and #44. Still on lap 32, #28 enters pit road from near the outer turn 4 wall and comes down across the nose of #19 who then spins, bringing out the caution. Incident on #28. With #5 and #44 being unable to complete a green flag drive-through, they served a 4-tire stop under the second caution lap restarting at the rear of the field, satisfying the rule. #28 did NOT serve his 4-tire stop on the second caution lap and is penalized 1-lap as per the rules.

Lap #43: #28 bounces off the turn 4 wall and collects the #44. Incident on #28. Unfortunately, this was the second incident on #28 and he properly parked.

Lap #49: #532 self-spins in turn 1 on the restart. Incident on #532. 4-tire stop was correctly served on the second caution lap.

Lap #74: #163 self-spins while trying to avoid #13 who was slowed on the bottom of turn 4 preparing to enter pit road during green flag stops. While #13 did get two wheels on the apron and then return to the racing surface, he was still within the appropriate area to slow for entering pit road and had posted that he was pitting. Incident on #163. #163 parked.

Penalties:
None

Can Not Qualify for next week (1/19)
#5 David Day
#59 Herman Reiss
#088 Tim Noftsker

CONGRATULATIONS TO #5 DAVID DAY ON THE WIN!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO #065 LARRY YEAGER JR ON THE CHALLENGER WIN!! (FINISHED 5TH OVERALL)

ANOTHER GREAT TURNOUT AND MORE GREAT GREEN RACING!!

Optimus Prime wrote: January 20th, 2015, 10:00 pm Race #3 - Talladega (1/19/2015)

Lap #40: While exiting the pits from a green flag stop, #6 goes up the track to the high line, while attempting to pass the #065 who is also coming onto the track from the apron while exiting turn 2. #6 attempts to go back down as the field is approaching at full speed, and a wreck occurs. Incident on #6. #6 retired.

Lap #55: While on the backstretch, #04 gives what appears to be a good and proper bump to #15, who is the leader of the high line and has open track in front of him. The #15 gets slightly out of shape and makes minor contact with the wall, resulting in a check-up in that line. The #196, who is getting pushed by the #144 and #5, gets into and turns the #04 resulting in a wreck. After a very detailed analysis of this incident by multiple Owners/Admins, this is determined a racing deal, as no fault could be found with the actions of any of the drivers involved, other than being very tightly grouped together and all at risk of a chain reaction type incident. The #196 and #04 retired.

Penalties: #144 Tyler Young - Suspended for one week for flaming (dropping the F-Bomb in open TeamSpeak).

Can Not Qualify for next race (2/2)
#20 WylyE Cote
#19 Jason Scheck
#108 John Chapman Jr.

CONGRATULATIONS TO #20 WYLYE COTE ON THE WIN!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO #19 JASON SCHECK ON THE CHALLENGER WIN!! (FINISHED 2ND OVERALL)

GREAT GREEN RACING AS USUAL!!! Only two cautions with another huge turnout of 30+ drivers coming out to race. Almost caution-free, as both cautions were just unfortunate flukes and the first yellow didn't fly until after the second round of green flag stops. Amazing superspeedway racing and demonstrating the great things we can all look forward to during NRT Week. :good:

Thanks to everyone for coming out!!
:yahoo:

I've never seen so many, so excited in a positive way about a race that nearly doubled the highest number of cautions we have ever had in this series and tripled the amount we had the last time we raced this track. But the thing was, it was awesome high quality racing all night long between the yellows!! While we shouldn't be repeating that caution count and feel bad for the drivers that had trouble, the race was just filled with incredible racing action and strategy right to the green finish.

Thanks to everyone for coming out!! :good:

Next week we are at POCONO!!! We hope to see you there!!
