Season 57 - RTR TallyChallenge Series Incident Reports

Race 1- 9/1/22


Lap 7- #14 warps and is wrecked as a result; incident charged to #14 who parked.

Lap 15- #43 slides up while #08 moves down the track and they make contact. The contact sends #08 up into #712 giving him substantial damage. Incident charged to both #43 and #08 who both served their penalties.

Lap 29- #10 gets into #003 while pitting under green; #10 served his penalty.

Lap 62- #038 slides up the track and bumps #31 to cause a wreck. #038 charged w/ the incident; he is scored EOLL and a 1-and-park for his next race.

Race 2- 9/8/22


Lap 7- #003 clips and spins #38; #003 served his penalty.

Lap 11- #10 misses a shift and gets into #003; #10 served his penalty.

Lap 16- #011 misses a shift and spins out to bring out a yellow. ALSO, #77 is charged an incident for the secondary wreck on the backstretch. Both drivers served their penalties.

Lap 37- #2 slides up and bumps #711, knocking him up the track. As #711 moves back down the track, he turns down into another car. Both #2 and #711 are charged the incident: #2 for drifting up and initiating contact, and #711 for moving back down when there wasn't room for it. #2 served but #711 did not. #711 is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 50- #079 tries to give room for a 4-wide situation lapping a car, but he moves too far down and gets into #38. #079 is charged with the incident; he retired.

Lap 56- #038 is told he needs to move to the back for a bad internet connection, but he drops to the apron instead and spins back onto the track bringing out the yellow. Incident charged to #038 who retired. This is being charged as a Careless Driving penalty.

Lap 57- #011 takes the caution flag and immediately starts slowing down. This causes a multi-car wreck. #011 is charged with the incident which was his second. He did not park so his scoring is stopped on this lap and he is parked for the next race.

Lap 63- Exiting turn four, #17 moves from the low to middle lane. Just after that, #22 starts to move from the high to middle lane and makes contact with #22 starting an incident. #22 is charged the incident. Per the rules for incidents causing the race to end under caution, #22 is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park for the next race.

Race 3- 9/15/22


Lap 18- #43 warps backwards into other trucks when he hits the hot key to say he is pitting; #43 charged the incident and served.

Lap 39- #711 causes an incident at the entry to pit road; he did not serve his penalty so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 57- #43 warps backwards into other trucks when he hits the hot key to say he is pitting; This was #43's second incident & he parked. He will have to show proof this issue is fixed before he is eligible to race again.

Lap 63- #93 pushes up into #47 to cause a wreck. #93 is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park for his next race.

Lap 63- #038 gets into #26. #038 retired since he was already on a 1-and-park. He will be a 1-and-park for his next race also.

Race 4- 9/22/22


Lap 4- accordion style check-up caused a wreck; no incident charged.

Lap 11- #7 gets into #26 and causes a wreck; #7 served.

Lap 25- #90 bump-hooks #1 while in the tri-oval; #90 retired.

Lap 64- #26 gets into #93 in the tri-oval. #26 retired and will be a 1-and-park for his next race.

Race 5- 9/29/22


Lap 5- #31 gets into the back of #22; #31 served his penalty. ALSO, #011 is charged an incident for failing to slow for the wreck ahead and damaging other cars; #011 served his penalty.

Lap 14- #088 pushes up into #77; #088 served his penalty.

Lap 27- #38 cuts down on #8 but wasn't clear; #38 served his penalty. ALSO, #93 is charged an incident for coming up the track and causing a second wreck which damaged other cars. #93 didn't serve so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 66- #088 moves down in the tri-oval to block #48 but it results in a wreck with positions being lost. This is the second incident for #088. He is scored EOLL and a 1-and-park for the next race. This incident was protested but the call was upheld.

Race 6- 10/6/22


Lap 2- #8 tries to split a couple of cars but it results in a wreck. #8 charged with the incident and he retired. #8 is also charged a Careless driving penalty.

Lap 14- #10 blows a motor; no incident charged.

Lap 36- #7 slows excessively and causes a wreck on pit road. Incident charged to #7 who served his penalty.

Lap 54- #17 slows to pit but gets hit and spun from behind. Incident charged to #17 as he was still on the racing surface. ALSO, #84 is charged an incident during this pit stop for making contact w/ another driver and causing him to spin. Both drivers served their penalties.

Lap 64- #111 makes contact w/ #712 and it causes an incident. After review, incident is charged to #712 for not giving enough room to the low lane. #712 is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park next race.

Race 7- 10/13/22


Lap 9- #143 slides up at the exit of turn two and hits #77; #143 served his penalty.

Lap 22- #18 cuts across the nose of #48 but isn't clear and it causes a wreck; #18 served.

Lap 29- An accordion effect causes two cars to spin and wreck; no incident charged.

Lap 66- #17 drifts up and bumps #88 causing a wreck; #17 is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park next race. This incident was protested but the call was upheld.

Lap 66- #2 clips and spins #80; #2 is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park next race.

Protesting lap 66 incident ........
the 88 was 1/2 in my lane crowding me down in an area known to be tight off

this exact same thing happened last week with the truck to the outside getting charged with the incident

had the 88 NOT pinched down with the white line mid way on his hood this does NOT happen !!!

Hi Chuck-

The protest has been sent to the Replay Committee. Also, if people could create a separate thread for their protests, it would be appreciated. Regarding the incident, it was different than last week's race as that incident was at corner exit. This incident was mid-corner. Maybe splitting hairs, but there was a difference between them. I'll post a reply to this thread when the Committee has made their decision. Thanks!

The Replay Committee reviewed and has upheld the original call. The points and brackets will be updated shortly.
