Season 61 - Tally Challenge Incident Reports

Race 11- 3/21/24


Lap 3- #143 moves from high to middle lane but #24 is already there; #24 moves to avoid contact and gets into #7 in the bottom lane. Incident charged to #143 who served the penalty.

Lap 54- #9 blows a motor; no incident charged.

Lap 59- An accordion-effect happens with some bump-drafting and it leads to a wreck. This was reviewed and determined to be a no-call. No incidents charged.

Lap 64- #45 starts to slow down abruptly and gets hit from behind causing a wreck. #45 is charged with the incident; he is scored EOLL and will be a 1-and-park

Race 12- 3/28/24


Lap 11- A slight check-up causes a bumper-hook which then causes an incident. It was determined this would be a no-call; no incidents charged.

Lap 19- #43 checks slightly for the cars ahead who start to move down in front of him. As #43 checks, he is bumped by #1 and it causes an incident. Incident is charged to #1 who served his penalty.

Lap 23- #10 has trouble on the restart (missed shift?) and it causes a wreck. #10 charged the incident and served his penalty.

Race 13- 4/4/24


Lap 13- #143 pushes up into #1 and #39 at the exit of turn two. #39 was not allowed to participate in this call since he was involved. The remaining admins called this incident on #143 who served his penalty.

Lap 32- #54 shifts from 4th gear to neutral and it causes a wreck. The yellow did not come out but this is considered an incident. #54 did not serve so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 35- #33 gets into #28 during green flag pit stops and it causes a wreck. #33 did not serve a penalty so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 35- #92 and #712 are charged with incidents for pulling out into oncoming traffic after being involved in pit road contact. #92 served his penalty but #712 did not so he is docked a lap and a DNQ for the next race.

Lap 36- #143 tries to bumpdraft #188 who is running out of fuel but he spins him and brings out the yellow; #143 retired as this was his second incident.

Lap 60- #33 and #038 make contact which leads to a wreck. After a lengthy review, this was determined to be a no-call because #038 stayed low and #33 was trying to give room to both the high and low lanes when contact was made.

Lap 65- #54 slows on the restart and it cause a wreck; #54's scoring is stopped on this lap; he is a 1-and-park for the next race

Lap 65- #17 and #711 make contact which sends #6 into the wall and cause a wreck. After review, #17 tried to make a move between #711 and #6 but #711 ran high and #6 ran low. #17 got between them and then contact was made. This incident was determined to be a no-call; no incidents charged.
