New and Updated RTR Nascar Rules

Blocking rule revised for road Courses with no cautions.
Any driver being lapped by a car on the lead lap is to yield the position to that car ASAP.
If a lapped down car or car being lapped is found guilty of blocking a lead lap car that driver will be parked the next week. This rules goes for the whole race, the last 2 lap blocking rule does NOT apply here.
2nd offense penalty will be determined by the RTR Admins

Black flags when pitting under caution.
This was discussed in length was agreed to keep the same...NO bf cleared. Listen to your spotter and keep a closer eye on your F2. But if you sit in the pits to go get a drink or something PLEASE get an EOLL penalty so no drivers get a bf because of you leaving the pits so late.

Updated wave around rule

At the 1 to the Lucky dog plus up to 4 cars on the tail end of the lead lap will be waved around and there bf will be cleared when it goes green. Except the lucky dog no cars that are being waved around are allowed to pit during that caution.

Updated Lucky Dog Procedure
In the past we always sent the Lucky Dog low and we have have several incidents because of cars pitting when the lucky dog was coming through.
So now all cars are to stay low and the Lucky dog is to go high around the field.

Start times-Restarts
We will be more strictly enforcing the race start times and will NOT be having more than 1 restart from now on. If we have not taken the green flag and need to restart it is NOT considered a restart.

All Pavement races are started by the Flagman, all restarts are controlled by the race Leader.
The Flagman starts all Dirt races and Dirt restarts.

Replay Committee
Jason Scheck, Larry Yeager Jr & TC are added to the RTR Replay Committee...gl guys

Iron Man Award & RTR Series awards
Gary Elliott will be sponsoring an Iron Man award for RTG next season. This will be for all 3 leagues @ RTG and will go to the driver who has the best average finish in all RTR, 3unit & RWR races next season.
Gary will also be sponsoring 3unit and 2 series @ RTR next season....the amount of awards and the series will be announced the end of March 2011.

New Dirt series
RTG will be looking at adding a 2nd dirt series in the future. we are booked up for season 22 but will definitely look at adding it in S23.

Thank You to all that attended this meeting,
Terry
