RTR Rules & Format Changes for Season 28
Road Courses:
Competition Caution has been modified
1. Restart will be single file
2. All cars except wave arounds will pit together
3. All wave arounds and Lucky Dog will drop to the rear of the field and get a lap+
Replay Committee
1. Will be making post's for a new 2013 replay committee. Current Replay committee members will have 1st chance of being on it. Any open slots will be filled by new applicants.
2. Will be revising the permissions for the replay committee forum so ONLY replay Committee Members, series directors and league owners will access to it. It is currently a closed forum but this will guarantee only these members will have access to it.
3. If a replay Committee member is involved in a protest they are NOT permitted to post in the thread. If they do so they will automatically lose the protest. If a member is not sure if they were involved in the protest they may post to ask if they are involved and whether they can vote or not.
4. Anyone caught discussing a members vote in public will be removed from the committee. This also includes series directors.
Lap Down Car Rule....This has been revised
1. All lap down cars must at least do a drive thru on the 2nd yellow flag lap, pitting is there option.
2. If any lap down cars do NOT pit they will be asked to drop to the rear of the field on the double file formation lap.
3. Any lead lap cars that pit after the 1st yellow flag lap will line up where they come out of the pits. If they are behind lap down cars they restart behind them.
4. Wave arounds do NOT have to do a drive threw.
New Qualifying rule for all RTR series.
1. The top 3 in points and the last race winner can NOT Qualify. If you do you will start the race with a black flag.
2. All other drivers MUST post a qualifying time or they will receive a -5 point penalty.
Competition Caution
Discussed having a competition caution during green flag races.
