RTR S39 End of the Season Meeting

Hey guys we are having the RTR Season 39 End of season meeting on Sunday December 4,2016 @ 2pm est. In the RTG TeamSpeak

This meeting is mandatory for all RTR Directors.

All drivers are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.

As always this will be a 2 part meeting.

1st part is to set all the RTG series(RTR, MSR, STR & Holdem Motorsports) for Season 40.

2nd part will be to discuss any possible rules and format changes for RTR's Season 40.
These rule changes are ONLY for RTR as MSR & TNT Owners set there own rules. So make sure to check there rules to see if they adopt any new RTR rules.

Eliminator tie breaker, last race or best finish for round?

I might miss most or all of this meeting unfortunately (still trying to get that worked out), but in case I am not there, I want to let the Thursday drivers know that the "top 3 finishers don't qualify" rule is coming back to Thursdays next season, which is already being used for the other series here at RTR.

Also, we will be taking a page from NASCAR and doing our own version of "The Chase." It will be a more simplified version, and it will also allow people to miss a race or possibly two and still have a shot to go after the championship. One of the Thursday admins will give the details of this playoff format in the meeting on Sunday.

The RTG Christmas Race is Monday Dec. 19,2016.

The RTG SuperSpeedway All-Star Race will be during the 2 week break between S40 and S41.

RTR Rules & Format Changes for Season 40

Just a reminder that these rule/format changes are for RTR..See MSR rule changes below the RTR rule changes.

Game Glitches.
RTR will NOT tolerate any use of game glitches.
This is a Blanket WARNING to all drivers that anyone caught trying to exploit any game glitches will be severely punished.


Drop Race.
We voted to bring back the drop race, below is the new rule for it.

We do NOT allow any Provisional. We will be using the drop race function thru RLM.
Each driver will get 1 drop race after they complete 12 races, This will done automatically in RLM.
Drop Race = Your worst race finish or missed race.
RLM will continue to drop your worst race for the remainder of the races and the re-add a finish that was better it had previously dropped.

Eliminator Series Tie Breaker.
The tie breaker will change to the best finish in that round.

Allow tags and/or fictitious names @ RTR.
After a lengthy discussion this was voted down.


RTG Replay Committee
I think we have one of the best replay committees we have had since I implemented it 8yrs ago. We are going to talk to all the current members and if any want to step down we will make a post for members to apply to be on the committee. If we have any interested members we may add 2 more members to the Replay Committee.


MSR Announcement
