Incidents not bringing out the Caution
The Driver who was spun must make a complaint/protest post race to the race director.
Incidents on Pit Road
If while on pit road or exiting pit road you are spun out, knocked into the grass or the track you may make a post race complaint/protest with the race director.
1) Change to "The Driver who was spun may make a complaint/protest post race to the race director."
Do not try to overthink this, we just want to use the same word and the most positive word for both rules above.
Caution last 4 laps
If an accident happens at the start/finish line with 4 or less laps to go the field will be froze on how all drivers merge back into the field, NOT your F2 position.

The final results will not be Official until a mandatory replay review is completed.

We will also be looking for anyone intentionally passing under caution and racing into the wreck.

Anyone receiving a black flag because of this will have it cleared.

This rule is mostly for super speedways but will go for any race.
2) Remove the Caution last 4 laps Rule completely. It has been determined that there is an unfair situation that may occur based from it.
Incidents Ending the Race
If you cause the incident that ends the race you will be on a 1 and park the next week.
If this is your 2nd incident you will be on a 1 and park and be a DNQ the next week .
You will still be required to do your 4 tire pit stop as a penalty for the incident.
3) Change to "If you cause the initial or any additional incidents that end the race you will be on a 1 and park the next week."
This makes it clear that all incidents are included in this sanction and not just the initial.
Incident definition: Any action by you or your internet connection that results in the Yellow flag coming out (whether it be a self spin, mechanical failure or contact with another car.)
4) Bones, for a more clear sentence, Remove "mechanical failure" from this sentence.
Change to "Incident definition: Any action by you or your internet connection that results in the Yellow flag coming out whether it be a self spin or contact with another car."

This rule is both a page 1 and page 2 rule and needs revision in both areas if passed.

5) Prime, Idling on the starting grid countdown timer. Get on the track sooner

It is up to series directors to allow 1 race restart if there is an Incident or a driver has an issue before all cars complete lap #2.

I would like to have no restarts at all, or an unlimited amount of restarts until 2 full laps are complete without incidents,
as it stands now someone could get wrecked on the second restart and not be able to compete and their night is ruined,
as a time saver, by having no restarts at all saves time

If you slam someone into the wall and give them damage/cause losses of position, and the caution doesn't come out, you should face some sort of penalty equal to spinning someone. My proposal is changing this rule so that someone doesn't have to spin someone else out to be charged an incident.

Cautions
No Racing Back
When the caution comes out, HOLD YOUR LINE and RACE AT A STEADY SPEED back to the line.
Anyone caught intentionally passing for position under yellow may receive a black flag or a -1 lap penalty.
If you find someone in violation, let the series director know post race with the lap and car number involved.
***With 15 or less laps to go, and the yellow comes out, you are allowed to race back to the yellow flag.***
Restarts, Lucky Dogs & Wave Arounds.
1. When the Caution comes out reduce your speed and hold your position to the Yellow flag.
I think we should race back SAFELY when the caution flag comes out, not just within 15 to go. Why should I not be able to pass someone with 16 to go because someone else wrecked a lap earlier than the rule permits? Also, this does not cause changes to the "racing into a wreck" rule. If someone wrecks in front of you, you should still slow and make your way through the incident SAFELY.

The field will form double file when we get the 1 to go.
The race leader has their choice of the high or low line, 3rd on back will line up evens high and odds low.
Add a line in the rules allowing for the "Choose/Cone Rule" to be implemented by the race director if they choose the make a format change for restarts.

Race Restart
It is up to series directors to allow 1 race restart if there is an Incident or a driver has an issue before all cars complete lap #2.

We need to stay fast to this rule. Having 3-4 restarts is not good for our group. Can cause a driver that had a great run in the first, second or third restarts to get 'caught up' in the one just before everyone settles down. and the race finally goes green. Should not be admin decision to break this rule.

My biggest pet peeve with this game....... maybe can be made into a rule .... somehow .... lol
I still get more black flags because of this error all the time ...... I think I will call it ......
............... CYBERS CATCH UP TO THE DAM PACE CAR RULE ! ...........................
Always when under caution and approaching pit road ...... If the driver ahead of you is pitting ....
And you are Not Pitting ..... Then Catch Up To The Dam Pace Car :frustrated: ..... Your
spotter will tell you not to pass the Car number blah blah blah ....... But you will not get a penalty
of any kind if you stay on the track and catch up to the pace car ..... :ok:
:rules2:

Editors Note:
Just trying to interject a little bit of humor into the meetings agenda....

Also I am enjoying the experiment that is done on Monday nights series ..... limiting the number of cautions per race .
I would like to see this experiment continue ... maybe with even fewer allowed cautions per race ? Or even try it
in a different nights series ? Just wanted to let the ADMINS know my thoughts on the experiment experience ..... 8-) so far.

Rules I would like to see put into place.
One is primarily for Talladega Challenge.

1. Any newcomer to the Talladega Challenge should be required to start in the back of the pack for 1 Season. If they start in the middle or so of a Season then 12 races minimum going from ever how many races are remaining and completing the 12 in X amount of races the following season. Especially now that it is going to be broadcasted again and no restarts will be allowed. Full Seasons are required to compete in the Challenger Series, the same criteria could be utilized here.
It takes time for newcomers to learn how and what it takes to race that Series. I never Q’d for several races when I first started to hopefully avoid causing any issues, until I and others around me felt comfortable.

2. Restarts due to incidents: I would like to see a rule where if a car causes an incident that requires a restart… it should be treated as an in race incident. In other words, if you think you caused the incident you need to move to the rear of the field at the start. If you do not, it should be penalized as a penalty not served, LCOLL. The 1 & Park can remain also.

What is the feelings about putting the rookie yellow stripe on the back of cars that are in their first 2 season of racing ?
